This first half of the season is already behind us. Things have indeed gone very quickly these past few months, and I have been neglectful of my web duties as the schedule page was sorely out of date. I will try to rectify things over the holidays. For now, Merry Christmas everyone and we will see you in the new year.

The board met in early August to discuss various things for the upcoming season. The biggest decision was to move our home base from Chalmers United to Emmanuel Reformed. This change could not be reflected on the web site until Chalmers was notified. The main page now lists Emmanuel as our home.
The web site has finally been completely redesigned, except for the logo. That change will come later. Some of the original linked pages have been removed as their content is now on the main page. Fixing small page errors will happen over the next few days.

The choir board met in mid-June to discuss the director search, among other things. The main outcome of that meeting was to extend an offer to Henry Bruines to be our new director. In a face-to-face meeting with Henry about a week later, he accepted our offer, and the planning for our new season has now begun in earnest. The music committee will be going through our library, and Henry will be presenting some ideas for new music within a week. Arnold is busy accepting and planning singing dates. The new season is coming together!
